Mayor's Events
Our Mayor is elected (each year) from a potential nomination from 28 Cllrs. The Mayor role is not just a ceremonial role, it's also filling the role of an elected Chairman of the General council meetings, with optional attendance to all commitees. The role of Mayor requires a special level of dedication and voluntary service as a result, with attendance of events on request (as allowed and agreed) to support special functions, peoples celebrations and events.
